She was diagnosed with the first stage of breast cancer after doing a routine mammogram in June 2023. Sarah received a major surgery at King Edward VII’s Hospital. She spent a total of 6 days in the hospital and was discharged on June 25, 2023. Her friends described her successful operation to the media as:
