Richard Gere a.k.a Richard Tiffany Gere was hospitalized with pneumonia while on his vacation in Mexico. He was on a family trip to celebrate his wife’s 40th birthday. Fortunately, he is doing fine at the moment.

According to some reports, he really had a bad cough and it even got worse during his vacation. Immediately, he was rushed to the hospital and after his doctor’s checkup, it was confirmed that he had pneumonia. He was given antibiotics to combat pneumonia and his health is improving.

Richard was admitted for one day at the hospital to treat his pneumonia. Now, he has been discharged and his health is improving. He went to Mexico to celebrate his wife, Alejandra Silva’s birthday. They were married in 2018 and they share two adorable children together.

The family of four was having a great time on their vacation until Richard’s emergency sickness. His wife wrote back to all of her well-wishers on social media saying:

‘Thank you all for the birthday wishes.. after almost 3 weeks of everyone being sick in our family today finally I feel much better! Thank you for all the love [heart] I give it all back to you!’

She further added:

“I give it all back to you #happybirthday #happy40.”

She even shared a picture of her and their sons walking on the beach. In her other picture, Richard and Alejandra were wearing a facemask and they walked hand in hand with their younger son. She captioned that picture saying:

Alejandra is not Richard’s first love, he was already married to two different ladies in his past days. At first, he was married to a supermodel, Cindy Crawford. They were married for 4 years but they never shared a child together. Later, he tied the wedding knot to Carey Lowell from 2002 to 2016. They shared a son together.
