Lin-Manuel Miranda is an American songwriter, actor, singer, filmmaker, and playwright who is in the media limelight as the creator of the musical, In the Heights. His creation, In the Heights, made him won Tony Award for Best Musical, and Tony Award for Best Original Score, and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.

He even got famous as the scriptwriter and lyricist of Hamilton which made him win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. This even became the number one hit on the Billboard 200.
