He was arrested multiple times for hacking. On February 15, 1995, the FBI arrested him for computer hacking which included computer and wire fraud of federal offenses. FBI ceased cloned cellular phones, more than 100 cloned cellular phone codes, and multiple pieces of false identification from his apartment.
He also hacked Yahoo! website and displayed that he released teh worm in all those computers who visited the site in December 1997. He pleaded guilty to four counts of wire fraud, two counts of computer fraud, and one count of illegally intercepting a wire communication, in 1999. He received 46 months in prison plus 22 months for violating the terms of his 1989 supervised release sentence for computer fraud. On January 21, 2000, Kevin was released.
